the soul, then Randy Walters' art is multilingual. Walters,
a native of Baltimore, Maryland and a lover of artistic
expression discovered his interest in art at an early
age. The gift of artistic talent runs through the family
genes. Randy's father, an accomplished artist in his own
right, nurtured Randy's talent by exposing him to a plethora
of art forms. Randy's early exploration and experimentation
with various forms of art inspired him to further his
education in the arts thereby studying at Morgan State
University graduating with a B.A. in Fine Art. While attending
Morgan, Randy focused on creating his own artistic identity
and style.
Randy's paintings capture the viewer's attention with
bright, vibrant colors and the multiplicity of images.
This serves as the catalyst for enticement to the viewer
by drawing them into each painting, and encourages them
to understand the story being told. The level of realism
in Randy's art is fascinating in its intricate detail.
His abstract pieces inspire hours of contemplation,
thereby drawing the viewer into the mood of the artist.
Walters enjoys conveying African American life through
the illuminating strokes of his brush.
Randy's deep spiritual background led to his creation
of the "Inspirational Series". His most recent
offerings to the series are: Walking the Long Road,
Virtuous Woman, Early Sunday Morning & Wash it Away.
Another magnificent rendering to the art world is his
interpretation of The Last Supper. This rich, colorful
painting depicts this scene like never before. It is
a must-have for the African-American church. Randy enjoys
painting pictures that people feel and can relate to.
He also brings his paintings to life through full-sized
murals. Randy's vision has always been to allow his
artwork to inspire people to bring their rooms to life.
His unique and genuine flavor of art satisfies the appetite
of art enthusiasts everywhere.
His artistry goes well beyond the realm of the canvas
as it also reaches to listeners of anointed music. Randy
Walters, whose roots and inspiration are strong in the
church, is also an accomplished composer and singer.
Randy is currently preparing his debut CD release, "Eyes
Been Opened".
